It’s somewhat frightening to realize that 2004 was already 22 years ago, but it’s true. That’s the year that Lewis “Tik” Ticknor decided that it was time to open up a full-service professional audio retail location to serve recording studios, musicians, producers, and engineers in the Denver area.

Hence was the birth of PMT Audio in Englewood, Colorado. PMT is well known for its carefully-curated selection of terrific gear that ranges from the world’s most desirable microphones and channel strips to preamps, consoles, outboard gear, and even analog tape. Due to frequent on-site consulting via studio visits, PMT Audio is open by appointment only.
