Grammy Congratulations!

February 6, 2026

Lynx sends our congratulations out to mix engineers Aron Forbes and Jon Castelli, who were part of the team that worked on Billie Eilish’s Song of the Year Grammy-winning record “Wildflower.” Both Aron and Jon tell us that the Lynx Hilo 2 was integral to the mixing aspect of this hit record.

“Wildflower” was the fourth single from Eilish’s third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. She wrote the track with her brother and producer, Finneas O’Connell. A lovely folk-pop song, “Wildflower” had some stiff competition for this year’s Song of the Year Grammy, which was awarded at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It ended up beating out a number of outstanding songs from artists such as Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar & SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, and others.

You can check out some of our interviews with Aron Forbes and Jon Castelli, both terrific audio engineers and longterm members of the Lynx family!
