	I thimk all thae particulars of the resonses to the original question are BS... the fact is that most now, and all future motherboards for "PC" based systems are PHASING OUT pci slots. period. with the addition of older UAD cards, it leaves you even LESS OPTIONS. Lynx needs to release PCIe cards, and EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT. those building comps RIGHT NOW know it especially, and PCI is only going to get more and more phased out as time goes on. sure, there's work-arounds, but they aren't cost effective. the only reason I could get an AES16 right now is b/c some older motherboards still have a PCI slot. or if youre lucky, 2. hope they change over soon. If I want another 8 channels of a/d,d/a I have to wait till the card comes out in PCIe. you'd think that they'd be in a hurry to release it, the demand would be greater....
