Lynx AES16 questions before buy

Hi!

 

    I plan buying lynx AES16 and i have some question about it like:

can i mix AES16 and AES16SRC in one machine (under osx 10.3),

can i use SRC on outputs or just in inputs,

have any known issues under osx or logic 6.43 and 7.1 ?

 

Primary i need 16 or 32 AES/EBU outs cos i use external DA converters for analog summing and now i dont have enough...

Yes, you can use both an AES16 and an AES16-SRC in a single computer.  Under OSX 10.3, you will be limited to using a single card at a time unless you are using Digital Performer 4.  To use multiple cards with other applications, you will need to switch to OSX 10.4.

The Sample Rate Converters are on the Digital Inputs 5-8 (channels 9-16) on the AES16-SRC.  They cannot be switched to the Digital Outputs.

And another fast question have any issuses between UAD-1 and aes16 ? Or with Logic 6.43 and 7.1
