LT-MADI Firmware Build 6 Released

Lynx Studio Technology is proud to announce the release of Build 6 firmware for the LT-MADI card for the Aurora 8 and Aurora 16.  This new firmware corrects an issue that caused the parity bit to be calculated incorrectly which would show as an "Unhealthy" MADI signal on some consoles.  We recommend all LT-MADI users to update the firmware to this latest release.

To update the firmware on your LT-MADI:
Have the LT-MADI installed in an Aurora.
Connect the Aurora to your computer with a MIDI connection.  
Download the correct AuroraUpdate program for your computer:
Windows Updater
OS X Updater
Run the Update program and select the LT-MADI as the device to update.
Press UPDATE.
After the update completes successfully power off the Aurora then unplug the Aurora from the AC mains.

	hello- information about this file (dated 11-12-30) shows at the top of the page of all (recent) available updates for the aurora 16, but there is no file link there. But hitting the link on your front page (http://www.lynxstudio.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4220&PID=24188) both shows the file link and by its name indicates it may only be for madi-card-owners. is this firmware update only to be used by madi-card owners? exdc

	As indicated, this update is specifically for the LT-MADI. Of course it is the standard AuroraUpdate program so it also includes the firmware for both Auroras and the LT-HD.

	Thanks- This is indicated on the front page of teh website, but not in the Downloads section i.e. via the Support/Downloads/Mac OS X + Aurora 16. That's where I go now and then to see if updates have shown up. Plus the file itself is not even there... Anyway, thanks for clearing this up. exdc

	You have to read the instructions to find the link to the file as it is embedded in the instructions.
