I'm runnin Logic Pro 6.4.2 on MacOS X.3.5 with your latest drivers. I'm
trying to get 96K goin with a 256k buffer and I get tons of buzzing with
plug-ins such as Space Designer.

I'm not tech support, but I'd venture to say that your buffer size is too small for recording at that rate. What kind of mac are you running?

Try bumping up your buffer to 512 samples (or even -God forbid- 1024) and see if the crackling goes away.

QuickSilver bumped up with a Dual 1.33GHz G4 with 1.5GB RAM. The
reason I'm so set on getting 256 to work is for Guitar Rig

Hello,

It is important as a diagnostic step to crank the buffers up and see if there is improvement. Whether it helps or doesn't, either way it clarifies what we're looking at.

Thanks,
