    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.lynxstudio.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1653">jazzer24</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 702<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> May/16/2007 at 2:59am<br /><br />I thimk all thae particulars of the resonses to the original question are <br />BS...<br /><br /><br />the fact is that most now, and all future motherboards for "PC" based <br />systems<br />are  PHASING OUT<br />pci slots. period.<br /><br />with the addition of older UAD cards, it leaves you even LESS OPTIONS.<br />Lynx needs to release PCIe cards, and EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT.<br />those building comps RIGHT NOW  know it especially, and PCI is only <br />going to get more and more phased out as time goes on.<br />sure, there's work-arounds, but they aren't cost effective.<br />the only reason I could get an AES16 right now is b/c some older <br />motherboards still have a PCI slot. or if youre lucky, 2.<br />hope they change over soon.<br />If I want another 8 channels of a/d,d/a <br />I have to wait till the card comes out in PCIe.<br />you'd think that they'd be in a hurry to release it, the demand would be <br />greater....]]>
