    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.lynxstudio.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=929">DannyL</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3792<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> April/18/2011 at 1:32pm<br /><br />I have a suspicion that the other FW port is there because the back plate of the card was built by another manufacturer.&nbsp; I have been told by Lynx that it is better to connect only one Aurora using FW, and then use the digital inputs to connect a second unit. This is possible using firmware version 15. The latest version disables the digital i/o (which many people do not use) to allow greater stability. I personally use version 15 because I am using both the analog and digital i/o while working large video shoots.&nbsp; <br><br>Regards;<br>Danny<br>]]>

Use USB to connect your hard drives. You will encounter drop outs, synch loss and other digital noise if you try to use anything other than 1 Aurora on Firewire.&nbsp; <br><br>Regards;<br>Danny &nbsp;]]>

Everything works fine its just that i cant see my external hard drive that is connected to the 2nd firewire port on the lynx. I don't understand i see it when its connected to my MBox Pro . Can any one help?]]>
